is there any headers besides the $700 stainless works ls swap headers that will work on a swap, i have seen hooker and pacesetter make some that look almost identicle but there for a 4th gen camaro, anyone know if they will work. also is it very hard to modify the harness to work for the swap ?

A guy is using them in his 3rd gen swap. They advertise them as 1 5/8 though.

damn those are cheap,i wish they were 1 3/4, do you think 1 5/8 would realy be that bad ?

YES. But it will allow you to get your swap up and running. Save for better headers.

get over on thirdgen.org. way more info for the 3rd gen swap there. try the brp/hedman husler midlength headers. coated and too your door for a good price.
