So I was bleeding my clutch today and when I was. pumping the pedal it got stiff. I told my friend to bleed it and it got soft but as soon as he tightened the nut and I started to pump it, it got stiff as a rock again. What could it be? Slave cylinder is new, thanks!

Yeah..Ok well the problem was that i would bleed the clutch and when i would crack the bleeder the pedal would get as hard as a rock. I thought it was my slave cylinder at 1st so I changed that which was only $20 bucks lifetime at autozone. And it wasn't that either, so i asked around and I saw that it could be my throwout bearing or something and wasnt really looking forward to takng my transmission off again so i asked a really good friend who is a good mechanic, and he told me to take off the bolt that's on the side where i can see everything and so i did and i saw that the Slave Cylinder rod was under the fork...so i put the rod on the fork and my clutch feels perfect!
