what's a good price for one of these, used? Trying to figure out if buying one and having it reworked is cheaper than buying a new stand alone?

I'm not sure what the going price is, but they are getting harder to find. I do know that they are damn near stand alone as it is and very easy to mod yourself. I did mine myself in one evening.

Since the new price is drooping so quickly, go that route. Fbody harnesses seem to go from $200-350 in good shape, plus another $250-500 to rework it (most places)

If you're familiar with the wiring and can DIY, check out a 01-03 S10 harness. Very similar
Built several for under $50, but thats a complete tear down and rebuild

Im looking at a f body harness on CL for $200 and I know I can mod it myself but don't know if the time/effort/parts is worth another $200-$300 and just get a new harness with all new connectors and when I get it all I have to do is hook up 5 wires and she will fire right up.
