Are all gen 3 LSX alternators interchangeable

Like noted above they differ in size and connectors but if you build your own mounts you can put pretty much use any alternator. I have a Denso unit off a celica on mine. If you want bolt on then I think pretty much all modern GM alternators except maybe the CTS have the same mounting bolt spacing. There may be some issues with clocking and clearance.

True, regretfully they also have "Corvette tax" applied to them so people rarely use them in swaps unless they had one lying about.
F-Body alternators are "only" 105 amps. (I remember when that was huge)
Truck alternators are 105 or 145 amp depending on the small vs large case.
I use large case truck alternators on all my vehicles unless I can't get it to fit. They seem to be the cheapest and most likely to be in stock at the parts store - and they are the highest output for the money. This also keeps the ability to use the PCM to control the alternator's output intact.
