Default welded Truck tb to carb 1" spacer , pics

I like the old carb look , but enjoy the benefits of efi a whole lot better ,
and dont like spending lot of money on some parts .. Im going to smooth it out with a die grinder, the welds ,, i tried with tig welder , i need more practice , so i finished it up with mig welder .. Im going to use two old carb bowls and tac them on front and back of the tb ,, make it look like a carb , if your just passin by .. This is going on a boosted setup . ly6 7879 comp . .

Why not just drill and tap the spacer to bolt the tb to it?

I like. So simple. Hope it works and is tunable ok.
You watch, someone will be making this adapter as a bolt together set up soon. I can see a market for it.
