Default Can I use a 4l60E from a trailblazer?

Is it the same as what comes on a Tahoe? any other cars that I can pull a 4l60e from in the 2008 time frame?

If the TBSS is a 2wd, yes. It should be the 4L70. It is the best from GM vs. 4L60/65/70. The 70s get a bad rap IMO because of them failing on modified TBSS's. People tend to forget that the TBSS weigh so much.

Make sure it's 2wd or else you would need to completely disassemble it to swap the output shaft and put a tail housing on it for a 2wd. If it came from a straight 6 equipped vehicle you would need to swap the bell housing and torque converter to a v8 one. Also I would upgrade the i6 trans to make it stronger if that's what you had.
