Default '67 Chevy II gearing

I've been thinking about this. What is everyone running in your rear ends with the lax swaps? I will be swapping a 6.0 with a t-56 magnum with 18" wheels in my '67 Chevy II. As far as the factory housing goes, would it be wise to get a whole other housing or just get bigger splines axles? Just trying to source parts and think ahead.

All depends really on how you plan to drive it and tire size. I had 4.10s in my s10 with the t56 and I felt like 6th gear was a little sluggish on any incline of a road. And that was on a 27 inch tall tire
