Small pointless update:

Been busy with work as the nicer weather means more construction. And then its hard to go work in the muggy garage when I'm constantly getting invited to go wakeboarding all the time haha

Got some 10 hole wheels and new tires for practically free. Spent some time polishing them a little. Got some 275/60r15 Nitto Drag Radials mounted on them. Need to swap out my 7.5 rear for the 8.8 and get all the suspension stuff install. I got some stock cut V8 Fox body springs and some CE adjustable rear drag shocks. Nothing fancy but it is an upgrade from the stock 4 cylinder stuff haha

Also picked up B&M Stealth shifter. Its beautiful and will look good when installed. Will be ordering a converter from PTC at the end of the week. Then its all about putting in some long nights in the garage to get it all buttoned up. I will hopefully get some pictures uploaded here soon.

Can you measure how much clearance you have on the deep part of the pan to the k-member. I've got an ls3 pan I can maybe get and wondering if it will fit.

Wow I haven't updated in a while!

So I got my wiring harness installed, had some issues with it. So I sent it to a friend (Kenny Cash, highly recommend) to look over it. He changed a few things around and I reinstalled it. Found out that I had some issues with my fuel pump as well. So I scrapped the Bosch 044 and am going to try out the new-ish AEM 380 inline pump. It was almost half the price as the Bosch and is a direct replacement for it.

Also purchased a Freakshow Performance 3400 converter. Tossed it on the trans and put the transmission in last weekend. Next is to get everything measured for a driveshaft, install the shifter and the beast should drive!

Harness was BP Automotive. And I should add that the harness didn't necessarily have a problem. I just wasn't getting any customer service from them when I had issues.

The Bosch was used that I got from a friend and he neglected to tell me that it sometimes took a hit with a hammer to get it to work haha

Thanks man! Should be getting the driveshaft made in a few weeks. Then install the shifter and it should be ready to drive! WOOHOO!

He was easy to get ahold of at first but then just stopped returning phone calls, emails and messages. In his defense, he claimed they were going thru an update of phone systems and computers so stuff may have been missed. Regardless, the harness seems to be working good so far, after I got help elsewhere.
