So I have been working on my project car for a few months now. It is pretty far along but in no way finished. I have been searching for a good forum to post my progress but have had no luck. My problem with posting it here is that it is not going to be LS powered. Originally it was but the cost of a transaxle made me switch things up. It will still be Chevy powered though. So long story short, would anyone care if I made a post about it? Would anyone be interested in seeing it? Here is the quick summary of what it is.

1970 VW Beetle
- tube chassis
- a-arms with coil overs
- wide body
- mid engine
- home built
- 400hp 1700 lbs
- Turbo Ecotec
- The shell is the only original part

Go for it, make sure to keep us entertained with pictures since most of us have the attention span of a 5 year old on a sugar high.

I'd be game for it. Ecotecs aren't bad little engines, and if you have a 400hp one, then all the better. We need pics!

I would like to see it. I am thinking about a Ecotec swap myself.

My daily driver/commuter is a HHR SS with the GM Performance upgrade to pump out 20-24 pounds of boost. It's a pretty potent little 2.0L Ecotec which almost outruns my LS1 1935 Ford..........so, bring on that project, lets have a look at it.
