Default Good shallow pan combo for dart next LS.

My Z is vertically impaired and I'd like to find as shallow of a pan set-up as I can without going to a dry sump. With the pan rail kit is the bat wing pan the shallowest thing available?

Don't know what a "pan rail kit" is, but the factory batwing and later LS3 C6 pans are 4.75" deep at the rear (deepest)...

You loose the windage benefits of the new block with the adapters to use the non-next pan.

I've talked to a few companies about the pan options. The general consensus is that the windage benefits are a bit of an exaggeration and
not worth worrying about.

Ok not what engine builders have told me.

Windage is a issue in ls engines. Why would dart go thru the task of building the block if it was not a issue.

Since there are no shallow aftermarket pans for the Dart there's not point in worrying about it. The only options are using the rails and the lowest Corvette pan, or dry sump. Thanks for the info, I'll look into what options I have.

Steffs might build you a custom depth pan.
