Default Who makes custom fuel rail covers/engine covers?

Who makes custom fuel rail covers/engine covers?

I'm in the mist of installing a Gen-III engine in a non-GM SUV.

I searched the forum and also tested out my yahoo-fu prior to asking this question, and I found several hits both here and abroad.

I turned up quite a few hits, but most of the hits I got were about a decade old. For the most part, the fuel rail covers (FRC)/engine covers weren't as much custom/aftermarket products as they were just OEM ones that had been painted.

Here are a couple of notible exceptions from my search though:

http://americanhotrodsolutions.com/f...er_fuel_ra.htm

http://www.ls1lt1.com/forum/appearan...il-covers.html

As popular as the LSX engines are, I find it difficult to believe that no one in the aftermarket makes FRC, and I have to believe that my yahoo-fu is just off.

Any pointers are appreciated.

But probably only works well on an older Vette conversion.

Your one link seems to have the standard smooth covers. Maybe you can provide a little of what you are wanting?

We make a few different style covers. Most of them require an aftermarket fuel rail but we also have some that work with the stock rail.

Hello and thank you for the link.

Just a little background, I'm a first time LS/Gen III owner so my background here is slim, aside from hitting the search engines. The above stuff was as much to show that I tried to do my homework before asking my question as it was to head off any "LMGT for you" reply links.

On a realistic scale, given the popularity of LS based swaps, I had hoped to possibly turn up fuel rail covers that had other auto manufacturer logo on them.

On the probably unrealistic side/dreaming wildly, I had hoped that maybe I might find a place that could create custom logos/wording. Although if this option did exist, I suspect that it might be well out of my budget.

Back to reality, It seems like many swaps that I see are typically running FRC with "Corvette" script on them. I am hoping to turn up other options aside from the Corvette one.

Again, thank you for your reply.

Many will take a stock one and mod it.. I did this to mine by using a Filberglass kit and some Bondo to fill in the script, cutouts and holes.. painted it and done..!

I believe this place will also fill, prime and paint covers to your liking.

Modified the stock ones. Pretty easy and they are an exact fit.

Here is his facebook page showing more pictures. I've dealt with Brett. He will make you whatever you want. Very nice guy to work with and will make whatever you can dream up. His pricing was also really fair. Can't say enough about my experience with him. Really great customer service.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who posted in my thread.

My engine swap isn't going to kick off till mid June, but everyone's input has given me a lot of options to research and explore.
