I have bought a 1972 Chevy pickup with a 5.3 motor partially installed in it. The wiring harness has been gone through and most of the sensors have been taken out. O2, MAF to name a few. The engine will fire, but then dies right after, What should I look for to get my problem fixed?

I'm hoping only the post cat O2 sensors were removed. If all of them are gone I'd just start with a new harness because that one is probably pretty f***ed up. Also has the computer been tuned, VATS maybe?

^^^^I agree, if the harness is really messed up, I would start with a good harness. Also does sound like VATS if it starts and instantly dies.
