Default 3/8" Pushrod Gen IV LS Motor

Just wondering if anyone has installed 3/8" diameter pushrods in your Gen IV motor? Such as L92, LS3, LY6 etc. If so any grinding required?

11/32" for sure. I was just wondering if the 3/8" would fit.

Could you not get a 3/8" dowel rod, or 3/8" steel rod, and check the clearances that way?
