Default 862 heads or 243 heads

Really what I want to know is will I be better off porting the 862 heads or picking up a set of 243 and milling them I'm running a 5.3 with dish pistons and ls6 intake and ported throttlebody Texas Speed 224r and 1 3/4 long tubes.

Since you already have the 862 castings I'd just stick with that

241 or 243? Or are the 241's a completely different set of heads from the original post heads?

Ok that's what I been reading I guess it's going to be porting my 862 or find a cheap set of 243 and mill then .30 and light port job.
