Default 6L80E neutral safety switch

Do the 6L80Es have a built in neutral safety switch? I've looked for one for a Pontiac G8 and only find them listed for the V6 versions and none for the V8s and I'm guessing that it is built into the transmission.

Does anyone know for sure?

Thanks

Mine is built in. It is out of a 2007 Escalade. I would imagine they all have it.

I was wondering the same thing. My 6L80 is out of a 2008 Escalade. So this neutral safety switch is built into the shifter position and sends all the electronic inputs through the TCM not allowing the vehicle to start unless it's in Park or Neutral?

They don't show a neutral safety switch for the Escalades with 6L80Es in them, only for the 4L60...
