If you include cost as part of your definition of best then that one isn't even in the conversation.

So what exactly makes that harness Mil-Spec?

All the sensor connectors look like the stock ones and I don't see any true Mil-Spec connectors. Looks like a heat shrink and labeled harness to me.

Typically abrasion, wear, weather resistance, corrosion, etc. In this case likely it's the wire type and covering. Mil-spec can pertain to any military contract for goods and services. Companies throw the term around like it has to be good cause they/it says mil-spec. There are mil-specs for lawn fertilizer and plastic silverware.

This harness just has more durable wire and covering. All else is just GM connectors and terminals.

Remember yahoo (you always have other options)

I thought I paid too much for my painless LS hotrod harness, but 900 for a harness makes my butt hurt

Isn't their price about the same as a Street & Performance harness? It's still crazy!!

Yet it is a bit high priced, cough, cough.

I would not likely pay that much for a harness even if it was going in a boat or mud truck that needs more water resistance.

Anyone notice that none of the connectors have secondary locks on them? So it is a $900 harness that someone decided doesn't need the extra $.05 safety measure to make sure the terminals don't back out.
