Just curious because I found some used, also found a used set off a 69 chevelle but figured those prob wouldn't work.

I always hear people say that pacesetters work, but do they have to be the pacesetters or can the just be any ls1 header ?

Dougs make some swap headers. They recommend their swap plates, but they don't work. I preferred using Car Shop 1'" setback plates. I had to trim the pass rear LCA mount to clear the #4 tube no matter what swap plates I used. They offer them coated or bare IIRC They look decent.
