Default spark,fuel,no start

I have a 99 LS1 4l60e in my 73 Vette.I have fuel at the rails and I have spark. It starts on starting fluid but wont start on its own.The guy I got the ecm from says the vats was disabled but maybe not.If the vats were not disabled shouldn't It run for a few seconds?Nothing. How do I check if the injector are firing? Thanks

Check for injector pulses with a noid light. You can buy the noid light kits at your local auto store.

I had the same issue. Verified power to the injector. All my injectors were plugged solid from sitting who knows how long.

Take the fuel rail loose and hold it up with a rag underneath the injectors and have someone crank the engine over and see if they are spraying. Unhook the coils first so nothing sparks. If they are not spraying, take them out and soak them in Seafoam overnight.

Ok got a noid light and at all injectors,I get no light then 1 flash as I turn off the key.Checked all fuses and looked through the wiring, all looks good.Could this be a low fuel pressure problem or bad ground?Where else do I look? Thanks

The injectors should have a 12v on the pink wire with key on, verify there is 12v both in crank and run. The ECM will ground the injector via the color wire to get the injector to spray. You can either leave the injector in-place, and use the noid light, or lift an injector up to view the spray pattern and manually ground the color wire, and it should light the light or spray the injector, whichever you've decided to use.

Sounds like the pink is wired hot in run only and not start and run. This vette was pre hei wasn't it? Did you wire to the coil wire for power? If so that's your issue.

coils wires are usually hot in run only. the 12v boost comes from the starter solenoid during crank then drops off during run. then the key switch usually 6v to 12v power the coil during run only. That's why your old school starter had a small wire on each side of the solenoid. If that is your main keyed power check the coils to see if they have power during crank too.

Did you run all you pink power(inj, pcm, coils, o2s, maf, tb) through 1 relay or multiple?

the rewire has 5 relays and 12 fuses.I know one relay if for fuel pump, one for one fan and another for the other fan.So that leaves me 2 relays.I dont want to open up all the loom if I dont have to
So I ran constant power to the key on wire and I get 2 flashes on the noid light then nothing. Was hoping for a fire then stall and would confirm Vats.
