Default Professional LS Swap 2002 S-10 (anyone out there?)

Looking for a professional shop to do a LS conversion on my 2002 V6 S10. I will buy a new crate motor from GM or Lingenfelter (378 CID 550 HP). I want it to look factory or better, I will by all top quality parts.

I can't seem to find anywhere around here that wants to do it. I'm in Greenwood, Indiana. Here's a picture of the truck, it's like new, less than 25K miles. I'll pay good money, just don't want jacked around and would like to get a fairly close price and time frame. I'm ready right now. Any one?

I called them. The guy I talked to said they do not do any custom swaps at all. Just there packages for Corvette's and Camaro's.

Is Raymond's performance where Mike Norris works out of?

If it is, I've been talked to him off and on for over a year and have yet to get any type of price break down. Been waiting 2 months for last call back.

RPM is in Anderson, IN. Correct? I'll have to talk to them.

Thanks.

If you gave them 20-30k they would put a LS on your bicycle if you wanted.....

I did see one just like yours about 2 years ago. It was for sell in Canada, real nice job, had a LS-2 vette engine in it. with all the stuff, AC everything. He wanted about 24k for it.

Check with Diversified Performance in Brighton, MI. Their work is top notch and looks factory.

There is a shop that can do it but it's in Evansville. I don't know how far you want to drive. PM me if you want to talk further.

Thanks for all the suggestions. It'll take me a while to digest all this. I'll try to contact the people that have been suggested.

We've always did all of our mechanical work, motor swaps ourself. Due to health reasons and I'm getting to old for this sh*t. I just really want it done by some else this time around.

That's what I thought. I tried to tell the guy I wasn't a tire kicker, I was serious, still no go.

Anyone know somebody at Lingenfelter?

I second the guys at current performance. We have used several of their harnesses and I know they specialize in the s-10 swaps. They have done several of them and will know exactly what you need. Not quote you a guesstimate without realizing what they're really getting in to like I have seen other shops do.

We have done those swaps here, it is expensive though as the time to do it correctly adds up fast.

There are places in Indy that can and will do it. Just ask around.

RPM Transmission is in Anderson, IN. RPM performance it on the south side of Indy. They do hot rod work.

I've been talking to the guys at Current Performance in Florida. I think I'm going with them. Lot's of details to be worked out, not 100% yet.

They seem to have all the swap parts I need, all are well designed and high quality. They've done the exact swap several times and looks like they do nice work.

If this all goes down, I'll be sure to post pixs when done.
