I have a 430 Erod motor i am putting in a trans am.

I went to fire up the relays/harness today. Didnt work. No MIL light in the fusebox. No power to the fuel pump. Seems like the box is dead. There is 12V going into it at the stud from starter. 12v switched into the pink wire.

My question deals with what sensors can NOT be plugged in to the harness & the stand alone harness still power up.

I do not have any O2 sensors, MAF, veh speed sensing hooked up. As of now I do not have gas in the tank yet.

Should the fuse/relay box still light the check engine light in said box with sensors unplugged?

Stan,

You should still have power to the relays even if the sensors are not plugged in. I would double check your grounds!

I feel so silly...

There was talk of 3 grounds on this harness. I only remembered 1. I went looking for the other 2 & found them.

Powers up as it should now.

I feel so much like a spaz!
