Just picked up my 5.3 and 4l60 trans this afternoon. It has 140,000 miles on the motor and 60,000 on the trans, got them both for 950.00, thats about the best price I have found. I am going to pull the motor apart and see how it looks, depending on what I find and how my funds are will determine if it will get rebuilt. Going to start collecting parts and info from this site and hopefully have the motor done before spring. Should be a fun project!
