Default 2001 LS1 with 4L60E flexplate

Great site! great info! Which flexplate do I need for a 4l60E 2001 5.7 LS1 swap? Do I need the 6.0 with the spacer?

LS1 and 4L60E are a factory combination. Nothing special needed at all. Just look up a 2001 camaro with auto and you will get your part number. It should be a 168 tooth.

a 2003 5.3 motor (LM7) should not need to have the flexplate changed to be able to mate a 2wd 4L60E, right?
