Default Correct electric fan for '03 Silverado / '47 COE?

Hi all, I am using the drive train from an '03 Silverado on my '47 COE build. I will be placing the radiator below the cab and I am looking for a replacement electric fan for the radiator. '05 and later came with an electric but it is wider then the radiator by 4 inches. This will not fit between my frame rails. Does anyone know of a stock replacement which will fit the '03 radiator? I have room between the water pump pulley and the radiator but no extra room at the top, bottom or sides. No, the mechanical fan is not an option, its also to large.
Thanks, Rob

How wide of radiator tank seam to tank seam? I used a 98-02 camaro radiator/fans setup. 27 inches wide on them. You can make brackets for something if need to as I seen your project on here. Nice work, You use 2wd or 4wd drivetrain under it?

If you need something narrower, try looking at a Taurus or Mark VIII single. They'll pull 3400 CFM...

The 1999 dodge stratus fan (fits a bunch of dodges but I cant remember all the years/apps) might be another option and it flows pretty well.

Dimensions needed!!!!!
OEM GM/Ford/Chrysler fans move A LOT of air, are cheap, very reliable, available everywhere.
I'm using a Winstar on my A body, some vette LS swaps are using f body or Ford focus fans. I've even seen Neon fans used.
Dimensions of OEM fans are available on some of the commercial websites too.

I'm using fans from a stratus also, pull good but don't know the dimensions off hand. I can measure mine but I'm pretty sure I already cut on them a little.

I got 28 1/4" by 18" for the surface area. I'm having issues loading pictures from Photobucket right now, sorry.

Check out the 02 Ford Focus dual fan set up. It's a little smaller than your dimensions I think. There are several over on the C3 forums using them because of their size. I've seen them used to cool BBC, SBC, and LS swaps.

Default Fans

I use aftermarket fans like SPAL. They come in 10", 12", 14" ,16" and should last a lifetime. I also build my own shroud.
