I have a 99 camaro. It's hugger orange, with a white leather interior and white convertible top. Recently I picked up a 99 SS that had been popped in the tail. I know there's people that will say sell the v6 car and just find a v8 car but this is what I want to do. I wasn't the first to this car so the ecm is missing. My question is if I get an ecm which vin do I get it flashed to? I've been told to get it flashed to the ss vin, and I've been told to get it flashed to my vin, and I've been told I'm going to have to get it custom done.
I'm planning on using the ls1/T56, k - member and rack, rear end, fuel tank and lines, engine harness, radiator. I know the wiring will be a pain. Who's got the best write up on the swap.
