we can help with the wiring!

One thing that you will find about the ls2 is that it is a special harness most of the time. If it came from a 2005 or 2006 GTO then it will have an E40 ECM System.

If it came from a 2005 Corvette it will also have the E40. If it is a 2006 LS2 from a corvette it will use the E38 system.

We can supply a harness and package no matter which system it has.

Judging from the way the harness is routed on the engine pictured it is from a Corvette. However, with just one picture I have to make an educated Guess!

Feel free to post up with what the year and donor vehicle is and Ill help as best I can!

So it will have an E40 system.

The downfall about that is there are just a few companies out there that support a Harness for that ECM. Most try and get you to switch back to drive by cable and use a different PCM. We full support that system.

We can supply you with a fuel system for your swap, a harness, tuning, Sensors if they were missing, and even motor mount plates. Just about anything you need!

what transmission are you looking at using? I do see a Flywheel in the picture, but I didnt want to assume that you were going to run a manual transmission.

Feel free to give us a call 270-805-1777. Ill help with anything I can.

Take a look at our chassis harness. It's the most complete harness you will find. Our manual for it is over 150 pages itself! You and your son will know all the ins and outs of the wiring on that car once you're done.

Regarding the engine harness, as Bill @ BP said, we are on of the ones that don't support the E40. Our harness for that, uses the 0411 computer. More tuners prefer the 0411. However what are you planning to do with the engine? If you plan to leave it near stock, we offer a free reflash with our harness (~$200 value). We'll turn off the anti-theft, set the speedo, fans, etc. If you plan to do any performance mods to it, you'll want to source a local tuner.

That harness is still setup for DBW as well.

Either way, you can't go wrong with the help from here.

A quick question you might have that most do, is that the chassis and engine harness are separate of each other. They will be connected via just one wire from the ignition source to trigger the engine harness.

Tomorrow going to try and do some more work on Rear Ride Tech 4 Link system. Doing the work by myself takes a bit longer and some busted up knuckles too

looks like you have some good work going on. I been helping a friend with a body off total strip resto on a 80 camaro. A lot has been done but just about have body ready to jamb paint in & out everything. I replaced both sides of floor, inner & outer tailpanels, pass. side rocker & front 1/4 patched. Also redone top & bottom front leaf spring mounting areas. So I know first hand about work you done.
