I'm going to be doing the swap into my truck very soon. I currently have the 5.7 tbi with 700r4. For starters I want to purchase the motor, either the 4.8 or 5.3, which ever one comes available first at the best price with the stock harness. Not sure on getting the 4L60E trans based on expenses but if I run across a deal or motor and trans then I'll purchase them. After doing some reading I've concluded on the simple things ill need for the swap.

*Conversion Mounts
*Walbro Fuel Pump
*Fuel Lines/Fittings
*Custom Wire Harness
*Trans Adapter (for 700r4)

I just want to do the bare basics to get it running properly and for all my gauges to work as they should. If there's anything I've missed please help me out. Any tips to keep in mind, let me know. Thanks
