Default 30 model A 5.3 carb

I built this 30 model from a shell that my dad had sitting in a barn for the last 30 years. I did everything on it except cover the seat. It's got a carbed 5.3 with a th350 trans and an explorer 8.8 rear diff. Chopped 5" and channeled 4".

That's a pretty sweet car. Nice, clean and simple.

That's bad ***! So are your coils located inside the cab? Looks like the wires go through the firewall? Running the MSD setup?

Yup coil packs are mounted on the inside of the fire wall, running the msd ignition box with it mounted under the dash. No easy task to replace a plug wire though! Lol!!

Nice! Where'd those headers come from? I've got a 34 pickup that I'm thinking about putting an LS in.

Need a Holley Hi-Ram with dual quads, but love the build! Where did you get those valve covers?

Thanks! The headers are a weld up kit I got from speedway motors.

If they made one for a ls motor I would have probably done it! Lol! I found those valve covers on eBay. I think that a company on California sells them.

Sharp car! But if you're on the HAMB, don't let them know what the engine is.....
