Default Ls3 pan on lq4 + 87 coupe and aje. Will it fit?

Got an 87 mustang coupe. Got a friend with an ls3 pan setup. I've looked and seen that the ls3 pan in fact does run about 2" longer on the sump part. Was just wondering if anyone had any dimensions with the motor in the car?

If you have an ls1 pan on your mustang, is there 2" of clearance to the aje kmember?

I'm no newb, and did search but came up short. So hopefully someone has some info.

Thanks

I'll take the no replies as no one has tried this.

I'm in the process of researching all the requirements to swap a 5.3 into a foxbody, and from what I've read most folks have good luck using the CTS-V oil pan w/ tubular K-members (various brands). Specifically, I read a thread over on corral.net where a guy put a 5.3 in a 1989 fox notch using a CTS-V oil pan & a PA Racing tubular K-member. I realize you're asking about a 6.0 w/ an AJE K-member, but maybe that'll help you out. Here's a link to the thread over on corral.net: http://forums.corral.net/forums/mixe...blue-hair.html
