Default Does anyone have an Ls In 1984 corvette?

I have a few specific questions about an ls swap in an 84 corvette

Did the crossfire hood cause any rubbing?
What air intake did you use?

Hopefully you will get some helpful replies. Do you have a build thread? I always like the idea of an LS powered C4.

I'm bringing this up again because I really need to get my air filter situation fixed. The 84's had an interior baffle in the hood that led to the crossfire intake. This plus a "full" radiator and AC condenser gives me less than 2" of clearance for an intake to go over the radiator. If I cut out the box on the hood I might have a max of 4".

any ideas?

Stock intakes are around 2 inches tall going over the radiator on the TPI cars. Join C4 modified on facebook. We have 2 or 3 swapped 84s on there.
