Default Swapping LS1 to 2000 GMC Sierra

Want to swap a LS1 (1998) into my 2000 GMC Sierra in place of the 5.3...want to use the truck intake setup and truck balancer and accessories. Need some help to confirm that those changes are the major ones to make the swap work?

What are you trying to gain? Not enough advantage for a 1998 5.7 over a 5.3 for all that effort...

If you consider those major, You'll have no problems sir.... Proceed ..... injector pigtails and a balancer bolt are minor necessary expenses.

Not doing this for performance, the 5.3 has a low oil pressure issue and I have the 5.7 just sitting here...just want to keep the truck going.

...I hope to not have any major issues, the injector pigtails should not have to be changed if I use the truck intake setup , right? The other unknown are the sensors...knock, crank and cam, I'll have to figure that out. Hope you're right in saying I'll be ok.
Thanks
