Default 70 chevelle daily driver junk yard build

hello i have used this site several times to help with some issues i had on other cars running a ls and i wanted to say thank you. i used other ppls build threads to get fast answers so i thought i would put my build thread up to maybe help someone out in the future
Anyways i have a 70 chevelle that was pretty ruff that had been in storage for 14 years. i bought it put it in a field for a couple months and now im working on it. im going to have it on the road by may this year working on it after work and some weekends
It is going to be on a junkyard budget and pretty sloopy but functional
goals for now are daily driver with forced induction and vintage air later on down the road. i had planned on doing that now but have ran out of money so it will have to wait.

Use photo bucket or other picture hosting services, as that makes sharing pictures easier.

pulling the 330k 6.0 from a work truck that had a very hard life

tore down and inspected everything looked fine
so plan on putting back together bearings looked good aswell

thining the wiring harness first time so it was a little slow moving

looks like a mess but was pretty easy

ordered head studs for a 04+ and as u can see the lower stud is way to short my truck was built 11 of 04 but has the older engine in it apartly

got the 6.0 in with homemade mounts just had to move the stock tranny crossmember back a couple inches

my buddy doing so motor mount fabbing

had to free some room for the 4l80e

racecar style mounts cost 0 just working with what we have not trying to build a show car

not the best looking but will hold

just filling rust holes so it dont leak in the trunk

trunk looked like swize cheese in the back glassed it and then put a layer of silcon and truck bed lined it

was origanly going to be a turbo car so i cut my manifolds and welded them to fit my needs

turned out great for what it is

ready for hot side piping im going to take these manfolds off and run stock ones intell i get the money for all the turbo stuff
put pac 1218 springs in the heads already
stock cam

got all the lights working and the hood closes 100% tight but it closes

The only money i spent so far was the cts oil pan$300,valve springs pac 1218 $150, jdm rubber deal that goes on intake $20,jap studs wrong ones $80
tranny $500 harness supplies $50
free parts 6.0,harness,drive shaft, inline pump from other project, radaitor, fan, gauges, 29x10 drag slicks fit with a little trimming for mock up
plan is get vats deleted this week and run fuel lines, switch returnless rails for some return style from other project mount gas pedal and put on stock maniflolds, reuse head bolts and make a mount for the radiator so i can hear this run
