I pretty much have all the info I need for a 5.3 swap into a foxbody expect one last one. The existing harness in the cab of the car what do I need from it or do I even need it for anything? Car is gonna be a street/strip weekend car. So I need headlights signals etc

What you need depends on the gauges you use, the one wire I would use is the starter wire, it will keep your OG ignition with your new wire harness.

I'm going to wire up all new autometer gauges and do away with the stock ones. So that while interior harness can just be removed? What about the headlamps and tail lamp functionality?

If you want to keep your exterior lighting I would recommend just leaving your interior harness. There are two larger wiring connectors near the master cylinder that connect the body harness to the engine harness. I reused these and the factory wiring to connect my autometer gauges. The headlight and signal harness in the engine bay is separate from the old engine harness.
