Default Hesitation under load/acceleration

Hey guys...

Just wondering if someone can point me in the right direction. I have a 98 LS1 in my 300zx. I did the swap in spring of 2014, and initially, the car ran like a scalded dog. Pretty much all summer, it ran great. Then last fall, around october, I noticed a slight hesitation under acceleration. As time has gone by, it has gotten worse and worse, til now when I press the gas, it feels like it is dropping two or three cylinders.

The plugs, and wires are new (about 3k miles), the fuel filter is fine, the car is carrying plenty of fuel pressure, (58psi at idle, vacuum referenced, gets to 65 at wot.) The AFR stays fine, even when the motor is cutting out.

I am thinking it is one of the senors on the motor, but I don't know enough about the LS yet to know where to look. Can anyone shed some light? Thanks.

I had the same problem. mine was caused by a dirty gas filter in the tank.

Id guess fuel pressure can you measure at WOT?

Do you have a wideband wired in? If so, what is the A/F ratio at that point, if not, then I would start with fuel related as mentioned, and get a wideband.

Wideband says fuel delivery is just fine. It is reading 11.9-12.5ish under hard acceleration. I am thinking weak coil pack(s)may be the culprit because it is not as bad when the motor is cold. If I fire it up, and pull out of the drive and take off, it is barely noticeable. As the motor reaches operating temp, it gets much worse.

So I pulled the TPS off yesterday, and, wow...

Totally worn out. No spring tension at all, and the thing just wobbles around and back and forth in the center. I think it was probably shot. I have a new one ordered which I will pick up today.
