I need an electric sender oil pressure gauge and I want something with a red/orange back-light.

This is about $50 while this is nearly $200. I'm sure the Prosport is made in Asia someplace while the Auto Meter (I think) is made in America, but that's still a huge price delta. Anyone have experience with the ProSport gauge?

I looked at the but the spin-on retaining ring creates a mounting problem for me.

I tried the electric oil pressure thing.... Not really worth it IMHO. I had the Autometer Phantom and the gauge isn't really the problem its the sender. I had 3 senders go on me in 3-4 years. not fun when all of a sudden you see no oil pressure in the middle of a pass.

Just get the manual one and the copper line kit for it.

I have used the electric senders on my car for 5 years with no issues.

They are displayed in my efi data. I would not be surprised if auto meter is also China now.

Why not buy an autometer sport comp gauge and install a red LED bulb. under $100
