Default Bad Idle Air Control Motor?

Hey guys...

I have chased an oscillating idle issue on my 300zx/Ls conversion since I put it together last year.

I got it to idle better with a different strategy, but I also found that increasing the idle duty in the table (Megasquirt 3) makes absolutely no difference in the idle speed, and that now, on cold starts, I have to hold the throttle slightly open until it gets warmed up. I also blocked the stupid hole someone had drilled in the TB blade, and the car won't idle at all, even warmed up, and even with the duty on the stepper motor at 100%. I am thinking that my Idle air control motor has failed. Is there any way to test it?

Thanks.
