Yikes .648 lift AND 1.8 rockers??? You do know final lift will be over .700 right??

yup ... go big or stay home! lol - actually the .648 is factoring in the 1.8 rockers, so it's that's the final lift, not over .700

(The plan is to run twin garrett gtx4508r's or equivalent @ 30 psi)

This cam was based on calculations of all the components of the engine - Mike Jones runs this through his proprietary software, really great guy... jonescams.com

Great build. What was the reason for going with this front suspension with the slotted UCA mount ( is this a Mustang 2 setup?) VS. a normal fixed UCA mount?
thanks,
Jim

It's as you say, a Mustang 2 IFS and was the kit that fits the '39-'51 Buicks. (from JW Rod Garage www.jwrodgarage.com)

Any plans for a chopped top in the future? Going to be sweet either way, but a chopped sedanette laid out is one of my favorite custom rods.

When I first got it, I was seriously looking at chopping it.

But the longer I had it, the more I think I liked the way the lines look with the jet back and once it's slammed with the big aggressive teeth up front, I don' think it needs it.

Either way it's a good option but like I said, at least from my perspective, the lines are good on it already.

Agreed... keep up the progress, very interested in seeing this take shape, and thanks for sharing.

Looks like the 5 gallon air tanks will fit nicely under the body ... one on each side...
