The link below is old but it may help you out.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...-oil-pans.html

All of the fitment comes down to which conversion motor mounts you use. You will have to dig around on different forums (LS1tech, Yellowbullet, maliburacing, etc) because theres a ton of people that all get different results depending on what parts they used. In my LS swap I kept the stock truck pan on my engine. It does hang about half an inch below my crossmember, but my car isnt lowered at all.

I run a Muscle car pan in my '83 regal. It does hang, but no bad at all. I don't really worry about it. My car doesn't sit real low though.

How many PSI does this walbro pump push out? If you are trying to do a in tank pump then it would be as easy as finding a EFI tank and adding the correct pump you need. Being this is the carb forum I would think a TBI pump with regulator and return would set you up perfectly.

pigtails may change but usually gray is the pump purple is usually the sender and black is ground. Check to be certain.

I moved this thread to the conversions and hybrid section. You should get more feedback in here.

DO NOT RUN THE LS1 PAN!! I have 1 inch set back plates and it still did not clearance the cradle. Stay away.

Me personally, I want a pan that sits no lower than the cradle and I know the muscle pan and cts-v does hang. Clears, yes but hangs. I went with a autokraft pan and it fits ridiculously awesome. No hanging and tons of clearance. But it's 400 bux . We'll worth it for the fact of piece of mind knowing you won't hit the pan on a man hole with road work being done or anyother road concern.
