I really like the 03-04 cobra body style so I figured I'd make my own and sell my coupe off as a roller. In the process of swapping i am going to upgrade a few things. The 99 is a $750 gem. It runs, drives and Ac works Im going to get it inspected before I yank it out. I bought a new AJE kmember, AJE cross member, 03 cobra front bumper, side skirts and im still looking for a rear bumper and trunk/spoiler. I should be pulling the 99 apart this week.

dang I'm excited about Leash electronic stuff that I just saw now. Love the new car, I've been thinking of doing the same thing now. My coupe has been LS powered now for over 12 years.

I got my porta cooler out and started tearing the car down today.
Its almost ready to drop out
My buddy Tim showed up to help out.
Installed the tubular front bumper support
The new AJE kmember is in
Trying to figure out what wiring can stay and what can go, bye bye AC

I pulled the air bag out today to make room for the Holley HP ECU. I think im going to drill out the rivets and use the stock air bag cover
I pulled the passenger side harness out and trimmed it down. I only need the blimker light and not the CCRM so I cut out a bunch of the factory harness

I did the same with the passenger air bag. Drilled the rivets then put the cover back with the Velcro that was on it from the factor and you can't even tell it's gone. I also gutted the airbag in the steering wheel so I could keep the mustang instead of buying the delete that's just the Ford logo.

Ive been on nights since sat. I only get a few hours a day to get things done. It works pretty good in the heat of south texas.
Im going to start drilling the rivets out tomorrow
No its not a florida50 piece This one is made from a block of ABS plastic on a CNC machine. I'll try to find the guys name
