Default LQ9 and LS1

just picked up a lq9 from a silverado SS

What parts can just swap over?

From my research all ls1 accessories onto the lq9 water pump ect

what about oil pan?

can i just swap the oil pan over or do i need other parts before i begin on this?

also how do l92 heads work according to pushrod lengths and ect because there are so many different pushrods i see with minimal differences will this head constitute a change or can stock pushrods be used

Ls1 accessories will swap over. You have to drill and tap a hole for alternator if you are using Ls1 fbody accessories. Oil pan will swap over. Make sure to swap dipstick, oil pick up and windage tray also.

You also need to swap over the pulley/balancer as there is a difference of .75" in spacing.

LS1 has the crank sensor on the side of the pan toward the back.

Both ls1 and lq4/lq9 have a crank sensor on the side of the block towards the back behind the starter.

Lq9 has cathedral port heads , l92s and ls3s are rectangle port , they use different style intakes and throttle bodies
