Hood clearance question for SN95 Swap guys
Hey all,
97 cobra here with 4.8 and AJE. I'd like to run a holley midrise under a stock hood, any chance of that happening? holley site says 10.44 inch height, that's considerably taller than ls6, just wondering if anyone has tried it before i waste 600 bucks figuring out what I think I already know.
Before anyone asks, the motor isn't yet in the car so I can't measure, just looking to see if anyone has tried it.

talked with another member who has aje and swap, he has vic jr and a edelbrock low pro 90 and i think all of that adds up to 8.5 inches, he said he had half an inch of clearance and since the mid rise is 10.44 inches tall, i dont think its gonna work

I have the old style aje that uses the upr swap mounts and that has over 10" of clearance. I think I measured one tI'm and it was almost 11. I think the new style aje k member and mounts sit the engine a lot higher to fit more pans. Use to be only the f body pan would work.
