Throttle Pedal Help ?
I've givin up on getting the stock Porsche throttle pedal to work correctly. I'm looking for Ideas on properly mounting the stock GM pedal. Anybody got any pictures or reference threads on how to do this. The stock GM mounting bracket looks useless.

Are you going to use the porsche cable to the gm pedal pots or use the entire padal. The E67 is looking for the right correlation between the 2 sweeps (#1 goes up as #2 goes down). There are several pedals that will work.

Michael,
I've done a couple of Gen IV swaps now and I always go back to using this pedal:

It is relatively inexpensive and the plastic part can be removed and the pedal mounted to a flat surface on the firewall.

I'm guessing a long shot for you, but here's some pictures of the Gen IV truck pedal from Denali / Escalade (and I suspect pickup trucks, too). It is mounted to a flat vertical surface. (though it does have some indexing nubs on the back that could be ground flat or built in to a mounting plate as I did. Perhaps there is room for it to mount above the other pedals?
Before upholstery, this 1/8" aluminum plate supports the truck pedal. The plate mounts to studs which are threaded in to stand-offs welded to the firewall. The plate is very solid and I added threadserts where the pedal mounts to the plate. And drilled holes for the indexing nubs on the backside of the pedal
