Mustang swap + Borgeson power steering kit issue
Gents
Has anyone ran into a problem with the pressure line that comes wuth Borgeson power steering kit being too short?
I have normal LS1 (F-Body) accesories and dont know if Im just running the line wrong or what but it looks to be way too short and but this is the kit being advertised to fit foxbody swaps.
Thanks
Sean

I went back thru it and there is no way that the line will reach. Only thing I can think is that the kit is meant for someone running the truck setup with the pump mounted down low versus the Ls1 with the pump mounted high.
Still dont know why multiple companies advertise this exact kit as the one for swapping a Ls1 into 1979-93 mustangs when it doesnt work

It doesn't work. I bought it too thinking it would work. Luckily summit took it back.
This is what I used for an fbody pump setup and a stock mustang gt power steering rack and pinion.
•AN fitting for Ford rack = ALL48214 (-6X9/16-18 ORING)
•AN fitting for Ls1 PS Pump = AFC-37130 (also reduces line pressure)
•Power Steering Hoses = CBR Performance part number FBPSKIT

This is a copy and paste of my order and all works great. I too found out the borg kit doesn't work.
The fitting for the pump that drops pressure was delivered without a through hole...after many phone calls and the like, I just drilled it out. It works but I think I could have reused factory fitting and drilled out port hole to drop the pressure.
