I have a c7 vette and I love 7th gear and the .42 ratio. I never use 5th or 6th. I also have a 68 camaro that I plan to swap in a t56 magnum or tr 6060. Any way i can somehow buy a c7 7th gear and replace the 6th gear in a magnum or tr6060 with it?

you can't really just replace one gear. You would have to do 5th and 6th.

The only real downside of the 2.66 version of the Magnum is that overdrive isn't that great (.63) as you know. I do love the .80 5th gear in it.

6th in the 2.66 T56 Magnum can be changed to 0.50 individually and 5th can be changed to 0.74 individually.

The 7th gears don't fit the Magnum.
