(LS1 2000)

I bought a book, but that does not help much. LS1tech is superior!

I think this is previous owners oil temp sensor (slightly below middle of pic, big white cable to it), can I put an oil pressure sensor here? My Moroso 20140 oil pan prevents the previous sensor setup next to the filter on the stock pan.



Is there a tach signal somewhere here to be found? Are these the connectors to the Corvette instrument cluster? (The harness and ECU are already modified by previous owner)

Those connectors are not OE, no way of knowing what they are for.
Better map them from their origin.

Ok... That is good to know. I guess they are not needed, why else would they be there

The plug closest to the end of your thumb looks like a transmission plug. The other two i'm not sure of, but the could be corvette plugs that I'm not familiar with because the corvette has the transmission in the rear of the car, could be some kind of extention harness?

I'll measure them and see which one connects where and see where it takes me.

The oil pressure sensor location should work if your new sensor has the same threads. If not and adapter would work also.

Like said above, those all look like transmission plugs.

Trace the tach signal output from the ECM. I assume you have a 411 and I think its pin 10 on the red connector.

I used my stock oil pressure sensor location on the top back of the engine. I'm not running a sensor for the computer.

For the tach sensor, find a wiring diagram. I sliced in it to run the wire for my tach. Read up on what tach you have because some require a resistor because the pulses are different.
