Windstar Fan wiring help
I know the topic has been beaten to death and Ive searched the forums but I still need help because I really suck at wiring.
I have a 6.0 swapped into my 72 chevelle with a 99-02 wiring harness
I sent my harness to a local guy to have it worked and tuned
He did not make provisions for a second fan
I know where the pin goes and the initial set up for the second fan.
My question relates to how to wire the fan up afterward. I have a good idea but I just need clarification.
The guy ran the pcm wires through this bussmann fuse panel with relays.
I would imagine I would also have to run the new wire through this fuse panel and install another 30 amp mini relay and 30 amp fuse.
From there is where I get confused.
Im thinking that from here I need to run two other separate relays that tie in with these wires coming off the fuse panel
The wires off the fuse panel will be considered the PCM wires
I would also need to tie another hot wire from the battery and of course the fan wires and ground
Is this correct or do I have it all wrong?
Also, how do the relays and fuses relate to each other on this box? Are they just inline with each other? Im not 100% sure on where to put the new 30 amp fuse.

This is for a single fan setup.
This is for 2 fans. Pics are from lt1swap.com . Lots of info on there.

Thanks for the reply
I would like to wire one fan to a toggle switch and the other to the ecm.
I have a 99-02 ECM and it was only flashed for one fan.
Heres the diagram that ive made.
Will it work?

The pcm sends the ground signal to the relay. Are your 2 fans 2 speed or just single? If single wire them up like the first pic I sent and on your 2nd fan use the toggle switch to send the ground to the relay.

Okay, that looks easy enough. Thank you very much for your help!!
I do have one more question though.
The way the guy wired my harness is confusing.
Im using a wire from my AAW fuse panel to supply the +12 to the relays.
The guy wired the yellow ecm fan control wire into that auxiliary fuse panel in the first post. He wrote elec fan control no more than 20 amps on a 10 ga white wire. Im not sure if he made this ecu fan wire hot or what. In the picture its the second relay down. The #4 spot which is what I think designates the fan wire is not fused. So im not sure if its still considered the ground wire.
Im thinking about removing the yellow ecu wire from that fuse box and running it straight.
Man I really wish I did the harness myself instead of being lazy and paying someone.
