the car looks great and the RaceStars will look badass on the silver
I had one the first batch PiMP ECU's, that is a great product.

A few things showed up last night. It's too pretty to put where no one can see it.

Wow, you're not playing around.
Looks like a well thought out build with quality parts/craftsmanship.

BTW, are you on SVTP? I could swear that I've seen your car on there.

Got a few things done over the past few weeks.

Installed frame connectors, dropped in Walbro 450 pump, relocated battery to the back, finished the ecu wiring harness, got the hotside completed and picked up a bunch of little pieces I needed. Hoping to start it in the next week or so.

What size tire is that in the rear? Seems you could have gone wider.

Good luck getting those little 255's to hook. Good progress, though,

Engine bay turned out pretty decent. I used some VHT roll bar paint on it.

The original Microsquirt I brought had a bad injector driver, so on initial start up I was only running on 4 cylinders. I got a new one and will be sending the other to EFI Source to be repaired. Car seems to be running great so far. Strong oil pressure, vacuum and no noises. Stupid accessory belts keeps popping off, haven't solved that one yet. Hope to take it around the block this weekend.

Well it wasn't the best weekend. Took the car out to go around the block.

The quarter panel didn't like the Mickey Thompsons. The springs I had in the rear were some old Eibach's that were way too soft. Swapped them out for some stock V8 springs and put some Team Z control arms in.

Had a coolant leak, couldn't find it. Realized the 241 heads I've got have the notch in them and it was leaking pretty heavily right at the notch location on the passenger side. A friend had a set of decent 862 heads with no notch I am going to toss on.

I'll hopefully be doing burnouts in a couple days.

Well to make a short story long, the heads ended up not being notched. Looks like the gasket wasn't sealing around this pitting in the block. So I copper sprayed the gasket and went to put it back together, then I snapped a stud in the block. The stud was about 1.50" below the deck surface. I was able to get it out. So I grabbed some stock bolts and an LS9 gasket and slapped it back together, its up and running again.
