Default 5.3 F150 starter, mustang guys help

I am using the original F150 wiring and solenoid that's on the passengers side fender same side as the battery.
I just want to make sure I'm wiring this correctly.

From +battery 2 gage wire to big lug on starter?
From +battery 4 gage wire to solenoid?
From solenoid 12 gage wire to small lug on starter?
From 5.3 harness 12 gage wire to small lug on starter?
From +battery 2 gage wire to alternator?

This wire comes from the 5.3 harness, I'm thinking it goes to the small lug on the starter?

Heavy wire comes from battery to starter, small wire comes from solenoid to starter.

The small wire on top I believe comes from ignition.

Some people use the ford relay, but some people, myself included have had problems doing it. On mine, it would hang the starter in for a second after starting. If it were me, I would just bypass it and wire it like a GM. Battery cable from battery to the starter, then the small wire that is on the Ford solenoid to trigger it, hook that to the other end of the purple starter wire in your LS harness, then hook the end you have marked starter to the small lug on the starter.

It will eventually burn the starter out. I know I did it. You can run another battery cable from the the same side as the cable coming from the battery down to the starter. So all you Ford accessories work and your small activation wire to the small lug on the starter

Yes, the small solenoid wire goes to the small post on the GM starter. Serves as solenoid act trigger wire. Make sure you trace the wire from the ignition switch for the primary feed wire. The F150 goes thru the neutral safety switch in the trans harness before going to the solenoid.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong I turn the key and nothing, I do hear the fuel pump though. I'm using the Ford fuse box for 12volts battery power and for 12 volts ignition power.
