Gas Monkey 911 LS build

Man, I just turned it off cause they are showing the same series of shows as last week. Guess I will need to check it out.
They will probably put air bags and 32" wheels on it.

If they had bought a cammed ls3 they would have beat the turbo stocker.
The show seems to have run it's course. I used to like it but now it is pretty much all about how rich that show has gotten him. The manufactured drama and tight deadlines are all getting old.

I was not very impressed with the build but again had to remind myself they are doing it in 3 weeks and German automotive is not their specialty which clearly showed. As far as the roll-on race it was no surprise the turbo walked away on the top end. The gearing and trans in that 996 was maxed out and no LSD. Even if it would have won Richards ego would never let the episode show that..

It's the dumbing down of America. Seemingly, the demographic for all of these shows is teenage boys and idiots. I've tried to record and watch so I can 30-second-skip through all of the contrived, scripted, BS. That leaves about two minutes of informative, interesting content.
FantomWorks is the same way. Watching and listening to Dan squint and recite his scripted lines as if he's nearly singing the words, is like nails on a chalkboard for me. His feigning of anger and overly incredulous reactions - like a B-movie reject - makes the show unpalatable.
The producers obviously know what sells advertising and that's what they provide. It's a shame that structuring these shows as informative, instructional and educational - E.g. This Old House - doesn't draw a large enough audience to make them marketable to the ad sales execs.

I watch it free on KODI using a rasberry pi2. If you don't have it you are missing out.
