Default Questions about master cylinder for C^ brakes on a-body

Putting C6 brakes on a 71 Cutlass that had disc/drum brakes. Can I keep my booster and just put an appropriate master cylinder on it or do I need to replace the booster? Can I use one from a LS1 f-body or C5/C6 Vette or is something else better? I can get the f-body ones at the junkyard cheap if that works.

Yes you can keep your booster. You just need a disc/disc master cylinder with proportion valve.

Thank you.

So an f-body should work fine with a proportioning valve?
