Default Attempting CTS Conversion

New to this forum. Hoping to get some good insight. Long story short. I bought an '03 CTS cheap that needed motor work. Well, ended up pulling the 3.2L and bought an L33 complete with harness to put in. I striped the interior and plan on building a cage after I get the motor in. Has anyone completed a CTS 6 cylinder to LS swap?

Youll have to make motor mounts. I made mine but wasnt completely satisfied how they turned out but they work.

Nice. Are you using a cts-v cradle or fabbing something?

If you set the motor high enough you can use the truck oil pan. I didnt realize this ti I bought the Holley pan which was crazy expensive. I bought it cause I was in a hurry.

I will be in to watch this one. These cars are getting crazy cheap, and they are still a nice ride, just need to be "corrected" as your doing!

That's true! I got mine for $500, parted out what I didn't need and made my money back.

OP, goodluck with it, I got a real ctsv (which is the same **** just v8/t56 )also and love it, it's my daily driver. I also got a regular cts but doing awd/2door conversion. Just make sure you change that rearend and axles.

Subd for progress pics.
